The first show of the season for the Broomwell Ryelands was at Lesmahagow where they competed in the Downs breeds section.
Gimmer Broomwell Lorna took the championship and twin lambs by Dolwen Flapjack won first prizes in their classes. The two-shear ram, Broomwell Korky, was second in his class.
